While having a very convenient location and well connected in-door to Suwon Station via AK Plaza, I can not find any instructions for such on hotel website or confirmation email sent. Would have made getting to hotel much easier and more pleasant in 85 degrees F weather. The room is well appointed but the AC control seems to work very slowly to cool the room down. Also in-room safe deposit box didn’t work. Perhaps just out of batteries and nobody had used it for a while to notice?
One major issue I had was with the toilet. While it looks clean, everytime I open the lid to use it there is a strong odor similar to public urinals. I tried flushing a few times and even put some hand soap in it but the smell didn’t go away. Only solution is to keep the lids closed all the time when not in use, close the door to the toilet (thanks heaven at least they have that) and keep the lights on all time to have ghe exhaust fan going.

Generally, it’s a good experience staying here. If you are coming off KTX, it’s exit 4 which brings you near the hotel. Or you can go to level 2 walk through the mall until you reach the hotel (directly). Room was very comfortable except for very soft pillows and no toothbrush toothpaste - lucky we happen to have them. I always thought that in asia these are often provided in 4/5 star hotels but not here. Location is best for short stays as transport is very convenient. Ladies at the front desk were wonderful! They patiently helped us to book dinner.

We stayed in one of the suites and received excellent service from the professional staff, especially the security team. Last night, a man followed me too closely into the hotel lobby toward the elevators, but a security guard deterred him and protected me seamlessly and professionally. I was thoroughly impressed by his quick action and discernment, feeling safe and protected. The staff's name was Mr. Jung ___ Young (I heard it, but was too sleepy to catch the full name). He deserves a promotion!

The amenities are clean and well-thought-out. I especially enjoyed the sauna and the happy hour service at the premier lounge. The location is also excellent, right by a subway station with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants.

Decent Novotel in a good location, literally steps from Suwon Station. Rodeo Street is also across the street. They have some nice hotel amenities such as a fitness center, and separate men’s & women’s sauna areas, equipped with hot & cold plunge baths, which was much appreciated. The standard rooms are nothing special, they are a bit on the small side, I also happen to get a room with a shower door that would not close unfortunately. However, despite some minor issues this place is a decent value in an ideal location in Suwon.

Located just beside suwon station and AK plaza mall, making it highly accesbile for walkers and use of public transportation.

The first hotel to guarantee a connecting room for me and my family. Thank you to the front office for helping us with private taxi transfers.

Definitely will recommend and stay here again when in suwon.
