Ganderak Guesthouse

Staying here was a lovely experience for me. It’s very affordable and you will very much get your money’s worth. The location was very accessible to convenience stores as well as the bus stop. The cafe was lovely as well. I had my breakfast there on my last day. Will definitely stay here again once I plan to visit Jeju again.

Excellent stay. The owner is so nice and welcoming, I was late to check in due to my flight but he waited until 11pm for me (after I contacted him)

The rooms are clean and full equipped.. shared bathroom is also very clean (extremely important to me) and they also provide toothpaste, shampoo, body wash and a hair dryer. (Also umbrellas to borrow)

Kitchen space is small but enough and the fridge is also very clean!

The mattress is hard which I really like.

The guesthouse is next to GS25 and 7-Eleven and it is also a book cafe! And the bus stop is 2 min walk away and they come very often ! (Some go straight to the airport too)

I recommend staying if you are planning to hike Hallasan, the taxi is less than 10k if you plan to hike in the early morning like I did.

Hostel is super clean and the hosts are great. The hostel is super clean and organized, the bed even have an heated mattress which is great after walking around all day. It’s very close to the the bus stop so fine location is quite convenient. Nice coffee library on site.

Ganderak is a beautiful hostel located outside of Jeju city. It is perfectly positioned to catch buses all over the island in a quiet neighbourhood with the most beautiful cafe / library out the back also owned by the hostel. The beds are comfortable, the facilities are modern and the owner is absolutely lovely. Highly recommended!

convenient in jeju city especially if you have a car. nice gym across the street you can get day passes. two convenient stores. clean room and bathrooms. :)
