February Hotel Dongseongro

Such a great room. Spacious, elegant, comfortable bed, large bath. The hotel offers free massage chairs which we used each day. We also had a free beer each day and a welcome pack of chocolates. The hotel is in a restaurant street and very close to MRT and buses. A major market is about a km away. We would definitely stay again.

From NZ. This hotel exceeded expectations. Lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were exceptional, rooms spacious and staff were out going. Their English comprehension is good. We enjoyed an extensive buffet for breakfast, free laundry facilities within the hotel (helpful when travelling)
The bathrooms were well done and toilet had a higher than usual quality bidet. Overall, we felt exceptional value for money with our studio room. The area is vibrant and very handy to the subway 2min walk.

I stayed at the February Hotel during a business trip, but it wasn’t the right fit for work travel.

The entrance was confusing — the taxi dropped me off near a parking garage. The lobby was small, but the staff were friendly and welcoming. Despite requesting early check-in by my agent, it wasn’t granted.

The room was spacious, but lacked essentials like a USB charging port, which meant relying on my travel adapter. At night, the area turns into a party zone, with karaoke noise lasting until 4:00 AM, making it hard to sleep.

On the bright side, the hotel is in a great location for dining and nightlife, so it might suit leisure travelers better.

Stylish, clean hotel in a prime downtown location..perfect for exploring Daegu. Rooms are modern and comfortable, staff are friendly, and the price is reasonable

Solid 1 star rating, mostly due to how terrible the service was in regards to assisting with a leaking floor in the hotel room.
Came inside after a full day outside, to a large pooled source of liquid (water?) on the floor, only after my elderly mother slipped. Floor crack and paint looked like a possible long term water damage, as it was lifted. The staff argued that it can’t be deemed as a hotel issue, as other options can’t be confidently ruled out (which was interpreted as we might’ve done it, but never outright stated). Manager was extremely rude and dismissive to myself as my Korean wasn’t perfect. Manager also stated they’ll call back to determine a solution, but in the end did not call back, ended his shift and left the visiting. Manager did told the other staff, this was ultimately not a hotel issue so that they won’t do anything.
We did not get any compensation, refund or resolution in this matter. Ended up spending the night cleaning and sleeping with a towel on the floor to prevent falls. Terrible customer service with zero resolution and accountability.

Location is good, but if that’s not the only thing important to you, I would highly not recommend this place.
