We stayed here for 4 days mainly for the price. It was $80 - $100 cheaper than hotels near the the palaces and places like Myeongdong. However it will require you to ride the subway or bus to most places. Since it's located south of the Han River we did all of our sightseeing on that side before moving to a hotel in the Myeongdong area for our last 3 days. The rooms are very small but we're only in it to sleep anyway. The staff is very friendly and helpful which is nice. Customer service is definitely a primary concern for them. There a large Starbucks attached to the hotel and by the afternoon its completely packed. Things don't open early in Korea so take your time getting up. Even the Starbucks at the hotel doesn't open until 7:30 am. Fortunately the concierge told us about a 24 hour little restaurant that was right across the street where we could get a delicious Korean breakfast to start our day. If price is a concern consider staying here.

This place is absolutely breathtaking and full of beauty. From the moment you arrive, you can feel its peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The stunning scenery, clean surroundings, and unique charm make it stand out from many other places. Every corner of this place has something special to offer, whether it is the beautiful views, the calm environment, or the wonderful feeling it gives to visitors. Spending time here is both relaxing and refreshing, and it creates memories that last for a long time. The beauty, elegance, and positive energy of this place make it truly unforgettable. It is one of the most amazing, inspiring, and enjoyable places I have ever seen, and I would gladly visit it again and again. ✨🌸🌿🏞️

A GREAT HOTEL ALL IN ALL

Housekeeping staff were wonderful. Every time I saw Ms. Yu Mi Suk, she was running to clean the next room. She was super kind and polite. Ms. Kim Hyoun Ah was attentive, pleasant and courteous. Ms. Yeom Jeonggae helped make my room the way I wanted it. They made my room look just right, every day. Towels were clean. The bed was white and nice. The table was wiped clean. I only have gratitude for their work and professional standards. I left a genuine thank you note every single day with expression of my appreciation.

Eric at Front Desk is always kind, and helpful.

Location is great: walking distance to shops, restaurants, subway, airport Bus etc. Also walk to Times Square and Shinsege malls.

Downside:
There's no trash can outside, or in the lobby or in the elevator halls.

There are no towels in the gym and no cups for water. When we exercise, a towel can help wipe the perspiration. Treadmills sometimes work, sometimes not.

I’ve stayed in many hotels across different countries, so I tend to evaluate stays based on a consistent set of criteria. Here’s my honest review of this property:
📍 Location: Excellent — very convenient and well-placed.
💰 Pricing vs Room Size: Not justified — at ₩194,750 per night, the room size does not match the price.
🛏️ Room Size: Quite small, which was disappointing.
🛎️ Room Service: Good and prompt.
🏨 Room Condition: Clean and well-maintained.
🧴 In-Room Accessories: Adequate and useful.
🪥 Toiletries: Average — basic items were provided, but essentials like a toothbrush and shaving kit were missing. Other hotels during my trip (including Ramada by Wyndham Seoul Sindorim) offered these, so this felt like a drawback.
🍽️ Complimentary Breakfast: Not included.
🛁 Extras (e.g., Bathtub): Not available.
⭐ Overall Experience: Average
Final Score: 5 / 10
👉 Final Verdict: You may want to consider other hotels in the area. If available for your dates, I would recommend Ramada by Wyndham Seoul Sindorim as a better alternative.

Title:
A Marriott Stay That Failed at the Most Basic Standard: Sleep

Review:
I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Seoul from April 21 to April 25, 2026. Before arrival, I had emailed the hotel to request a quiet room, and I understood that this request had been noted. However, the first room assigned to me had extremely loud train noise, almost like a train passing every minute. For a hotel, sleep quality is the most basic standard, and this room did not meet that standard.

The most disappointing part was the initial handling at the front desk. A female supervisor or manager responded in a very rigid and dismissive way. The repeated solution seemed to be simply offering earplugs, which is not acceptable as the main response to a serious noise problem, especially when I had requested a quiet room in advance.

A kind trainee later showed me a temporary room on the other side, which was still not perfect but slightly better. The next morning, Eric helped move us to a much quieter room and handled the situation with professionalism and empathy. He was the only positive part of this stay and deserves recognition.

However, we had to move from a twin room to a one bed room, which was uncomfortable for two adult men. Overall, this stay failed in noise control and service recovery. I would not recommend this hotel unless you can confirm a quiet room away from the railway side in advance.

The entire stay was very unpleasant. I booked 4 nights stay ended up cancel my last 3 nights after the first night. The hotel room I book is king deluxe and the design was horrible. There is no water sewer at the toilet but the water will flow from the bathroom to the toilet. Ended up it flooded and make the floor very slippery. The room is very small can’t even open a 28 inch luggage. It doesn’t worth its price at all. The provided hair dryer voltage was also super low. It took me forever to dry my hair. There is no amenities provided at all, including toothpaste and toothbrush, you have to buy them at a price.
