Dongdaegu Station Eastern Hotel

We stayed here for three nights during our visit to Southern South Korea last week.

The hotel is an easy walk from the transportation hub of Dongdaegu - that helped us in our day trips to Busan and Gyeongju.

Our room was excellent - even had a private enclosed balcony with a couple of chairs and table.

The stay included a free comprehensive breakfast. An excellent large spread of hot and cold options.

The check in desk is on the second floor - from the street level, one walks in and takes the elevator up to the second floor to check in.

This would be an ideal choice to stay for me the next time I visit this area of South Korea!

About 10 minutes walk from station but quiet surroundings. Great place to stay. Clean & spacious. Extra bonus with the electric wardrobe that could clean all your clothings. Good spread for breakfast.
Only did not like the controls for the room lightings. We had a triple room and the lights is either on or off for both sides, cannot be individually controlled. The air conditioning was not able to cool the other front portion of the room that has the single bed as it is positioned facing the double bed, so single bed is rather stuffy.

The room was clean and they're pretty prompt about cleaning the room when you ask. I never tried the free breakfast because it was from 7:30-9 and I never made it down there in time. There are several convenience stores nearby. The best thing is the proximity to public transportation. We rode KTX from Seoul and we were able to drag all of our luggages across the street. There are a few good restaurants nearby. Not very soundproof, but the hotel seemed overall pretty quiet.

The rooms are very classy and sensible, there is heated flooring available. There is a large Tv and a proper desk for work. Universal adapter PowerPoint already installed on the wall so no requirements for the adapter. Toilet seat is heated and fully automatic. The breakfast is a spread and delicious, quality products in the dining area. The hotel is new and the staff is very professional. Price is slightly above average but it's worth every penny

I stayed here for two nights, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, so don’t miss it. They also provide a free printer (available until 11 p.m.), and there’s plenty of parking space.
