Central Park Hotel

This was my first visit ever to Seoul and to Korea. That's also why the first impression stays with you for a long time, including the hotel you come to first! So happy I found Hotel Central Park Songdo - a hotel with a special golden atmospere, spacious rooms, very tasty breakfast and a very professional and service minded staff. Thank You!!

Central Park Hotel in Songdo is a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent, right next to Central Park, with beautiful views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s perfect for morning walks or just enjoying the greenery and water around the park.
The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Everything feels organized and easy, from check in to check out.
The staff are polite and helpful, and the overall experience feels peaceful and high quality. A great choice whether you’re visiting Songdo for business or leisure. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Central Park Hotel with a pet. Despite multiple websites stating they allow dogs and cats, we were informed cats are not allowed in the rooms before we got to the hotel, and at check-in. After showing their own terms on agoda, we were allowed in the room. The check-in team however were friendly and I believe this ordeal was a misunderstanding however was still stressful.

The rooms were spacious, clean and quite elegant. However, there is only Korean TV channels with no smartTV options, which is a major negative in 2026 with foreign visitors. The rooms also did not have air-con available during Winter, which is unacceptable considering the uncomfortable heat in the rooms. We woke up and it was over 29 degrees- my cat was walking around stressed from the heat. I notified the team of this and they stated aircon does not work (which I assume they mean not available). Its not acceptable when pets are being housed in the rooms and could be dangerous for them; never mind us.

There was also no bell boy to help with luggage when we got to the hotel, which considering people with pets are likely to have multiple pieces of luggage is inconvenient and certainly not 5 star quality. The bare minimum is provided for facilities in the rooms and absolutely everything is a surcharge if you wish to have. However, there is a shop nearby and outside the hotel is a lovely park that is good to walk around at night.

The check-out team were friendly however the elevators only had 2 working- taking over 15 minutes to be able to get downstairs due to full elevators. Overall, we would not stay again however if you are a solo traveller I would recommend.

The room had very elegant marble floors and a luxurious bathroom. The shower was great with high water pressure and there was a very nice bath tub that could generate bubbles. They even provide a packet of bubble bath liquid.

However, temperature regulation in the rooms is horrendous. It was heated to 26C. After lowering the thermostat to the lowest setting (19c) the temperature never got colder. Leaving the window open all night (-9C), the room was still a 25c oven in morning. I can't fathom why the hotel is held at such a hot temperature. It cannot be cheap nor desirable to do so.
