Brown Dot Hotel Songdo

We were given a free upgrade to a premium suite on the top floor. Breakfast was nice. The only surprise is there are no toothbrush/toothpastes provided. Glad we brought our own.

The bathroom was weird. There were 2 rooms; one for the toilet and one for the shower/bath area. The walls to these rooms were made with frosted glass so I could see my husband showering (nice view tbh); but that would be weird if he wasn’t my husband.

The bathroom sink was also in the room not bathroom? Weird but good hotel with nice amenity bag, bed, etc

I personally was not a fan of this hotel. The room had a weird layout. The sink was right next to the bed and outside the shower/toilet area. Also when we checked in, there was only one towel in the room. We tried calling for an extra towel at night, but the worker said they were the only one working and could not leave the front desk.

Another thing I found weird was they only gave us one room key. If you got locked out, a worker would have to go up and let you in.

The parking is a bit tight as well.

The breakfast that was in the lobby was okay. Not many options. This place is a bit far from everything. I believe it took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the Central Park.

I was fortunate enough to stay for a week at the Brown Dot Hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and service oriented, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. As a western foreigner with limited Korean language skills, the staff were able to answer any questions I had in English when spoken clearly and slowly, and otherwise they still help by translating through an app.

The room was kept very clean, and the hotel was very quiet. The cleaning staff ensure you have fresh towels regularly and any trash is taken out of the room.

I recommend staying at the Brown Dot Hotel when you're a foreigner trying to get your bearings in a new country. Thank you to the hotel staff! I look forward to my next stay.

The room was dirty, sheets dirty, towel dirty, the bathroom smelled like someone peed all over the walls. Actually when i tried to clean the walls with wipes i had, the wipes were dark yellow after 💀. The mattress is very firm al your back will hurt after. Don’t even get me started on the bugs
