AC Hotel Seoul Geumjeong

We had a comfortable stay at AC Hotel Marriott Geumjeong. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. I especially liked that the shower and toilet were separate, and the toilet had automatic flushing and a bidet. The room also came with a vanity mirror, toiletries, a blow dryer, and even a garment steamer, which was very convenient.

The lobby was beautiful, and the staff were all kind and accommodating. Small touches like the water dispenser, complimentary coffee and tea, and eye heat masks made the stay feel extra relaxing. Despite being close to the train line, I personally was not disturbed by any train noise during our stay.

One downside was that the pool was unavailable when we visited. In terms of location, it’s a bit far from many major tourist attractions in Seoul, with around a 1-hour train ride to most places. However, transportation was still convenient since the hotel is only about a 10-minute walk from the train station and just a few meters from the nearest bus stop. It’s also relatively close to Suwon, around 30 minutes by bus.

Overall, a great stay if you don’t mind being slightly outside the main tourist areas.

Location is another town south outside of Seoul. I didn't realize when I booked it. The views at the rooftop by the amazing infinity glass pool is warm and swimable. Lots of tables and chairs available there to eat and hang. City is walkable and about 40 to 50 minutes away from gangnam district. But the price to stay was most reasonable and easy access to food and train is 10 minute walk. Also really cool is check in is on the 22nd floor. Super different style.

A very unique hotel experience in Seoul, where the check-in reception is located on the 22nd floor while the guest rooms are situated on the lower levels. The hotel offers a modern & comfortable stay, with rooms featuring an open transparent concept that allows guests to enjoy beautiful city views directly from the room. For those who prefer more privacy, the curtains can easily be lowered.

The staff are friendly, professional & able to communicate well in English, which made my stay pleasant & comfortable throughout. The AC Kitchen on Level 21 also serves delicious food & nice beers, creating a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a long and tiring day of work.

Another great advantage is the nearby train & metro station, making it very convenient to travel around Seoul without relying on taxis all the time.

Overall, this is a good value-for-money hotel with a unique concept, comfortable environment & convenient location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Great place for the price. Good location - bunch of restaurants, cafes and 24hr convince stores nearby. Easy walk to 금정 station. There's also a bus stop in front of the hotel. Rooms were super clean and modern. I've been to many AC hotels around the world and this place was definitely one of the cleanest places. I stayed two days for business and worked at the hotel and had no issues with wifi. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very comfortable, modern and basic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy access to the train station and a short walking distance to the traditional market. If you are a lite sleeper, this hotel is not for you, too much train noises. Hotel is not sound insulated. Also, if you are a platinum member or higher, you can only have free breakfast for one time during your entire stay. This is new to me 😠
